Google yesterday disabled all AdSense accounts based in Russia and will pay out July earnings between August 21 and August 26. Google added that if you have reached the cancellation threshold and there are no payment holds, it will attempt to pay out any remaining balance in your account within 60 days.
This came after Google suspended advertising in Russia in March 2022.
Google has published this announcement about the deactivation of AdSense accounts in Russia:
We are currently disabling all AdSense accounts based in Russia. This means you will not be able to earn money from any AdSense account based in Russia. This follows several actions we have taken since 2022, including suspending ad serving in Russia.
Your July earnings will be paid between August 21 and August 26, provided you have no active payment holds and meet the minimum payout thresholds.

There is currently one complaint in the Google AdSense Help Forums with the following content:
is it possible to make money with AdSense if the account was created in Russia, but AdSense is in Turkey? Will I get money if I close my AdSense account and open it under the circumstances in Ukraine?
Reuters reported: “Due to ongoing developments in Russia, we are no longer able to make payments to Russia-based AdSense accounts that were able to continue to monetize traffic outside of Russia,” a Google spokesperson said. “As a result, we will disable these accounts effective August 2024.”
