Fil-Am singer shows “connection” between the two

CEBU CITY, Philippines – Tell me you are Filipino without telling me you are Filipino.

Filipino-American singer and actress Nicole Scherzinger delivered a great performance, singing karaoke to one of the Pussycat Dolls’ hits, “Hush-Hush.”

At any party, you know there’s a Filipino in the thick of it when the karaoke machine turns on and whoever grabs the microphone first starts belting out “Dancing Queen” or any other Whitney Houston song.

In this TikTok video uploaded by Nicole with the caption: “Tell me you’re Filipino without telling me you’re Filipino 🤣❤️.”

She was seen singing and dancing extensively at the party, along with the other guests.

As of August 13, the video had been viewed over 1.8 million times.

Nicole captioned the video with comments from some of her fans saying how proud they were to be Filipino.

“Proud to be Filipino,” said one netizen.

One netizen jokingly commented: “Pov: Filipino throat chakra activated.”

“The Filipino genes are working on her, hahaha,” one commented.

The “Baby Love” singer is certainly not afraid of any karaoke night and will surely put on a show that any Pinoy would put on as soon as they hear the karaoke machine start up.

Nicole first rose to fame in the early 2000s when she was the lead singer of one of the most famous female groups in the world, the Pussycat Dolls.

Some of her famous songs are “Jai Ho”, “Don’t Cha”, “Stickwitu” and “I Hate This Part Right Here”.

Years after her time with the group, Nicole left the band and began releasing her own songs such as “Baby Love,” “Come To Me,” and “Right There.”

She then became a television star as a judge on a talent show and even performed on Broadway.

Nicole’s father is of Filipino descent, while her mother is from Hawaii.
