After being eliminated in the first round of WWE’s post-Judgment Day era in the Fallout Edition of RAW after SummerSlamRhea Ripley decided to kick off the Red Brand’s return to the USA Network with a bang, talking about why she’s glad to be rid of Dominik Mysterio and how excited she is to defeat Liv Morgan once and for all.
“I had a lot of time to think about what exactly happened at SummerSlam“I’ve relived it in my head every day since then and felt every single emotion you could possibly feel in a situation like that. I’ve felt ashamed, I’ve felt heartbreak, but right now I feel like I’m just really fucking angry,” Rhea Ripley explained.
“Dominik, Dominik, you stabbed me in the back. And the thing is, and you’ve probably heard this before, it just wasn’t deep enough! And then Liv Morgan. You managed to run away with my championship, but the thing is, you can’t run away forever. I’m Rhea Bloody Ripley, and it’s time I remind Liv and Dom who the hell I am. So I invite you both to come to me -“
Unfortunately for Ripley, her promo time was cut short before she could continue as Morgan and Mysterio appeared in the crowd to bring her back down to earth.
When Ripley asked him to explain his betrayal, Mysterio fought his way through the crowd despite all the boos and explained why he ended his abusive relationship, which, oddly enough, earned him quite a lot of applause from the audience.
“Do you want to know why I left you for Liv? (Speaks Spanish). I’m a man and I deserve to be treated like one. You tried to change me instead of letting me be myself. And do you know how embarrassing it was for you to boss me around? A grown man calling you mommy?” Dominik Mysterio asked. “And now, now I have a girl who calls me daddy. She cuddles me whenever I want. She lets me play video games whenever I want. She lets me be myself. And she did something you could never do: She finally helped me beat my work-shy father.”
What’s going on? Is the Austin crowd just totally into the Chicken Tendies/PS5 lifestyle and seeing Mysterio because of his developmental delay? Or did WWE just accidentally make Mysterio a babyface since everything he said was actually completely justified? Either way, considering Ripley was showered with chants of “What?” during her own commentary, this could have just happened by accident.

While the crowd was strangely on Dominik Mysterio’s side, Rhea Ripley tried to stand up to her former “Latino Heat”, to which the crowd just asked her “What?” and she talked down to him.
“You know what, Dom?” Ripley asked. “I’m going to say something you probably haven’t heard in a long, long time. I’m proud of you. I’m proud of everything you’ve accomplished over the last few years. Watching you grow into the man you are today is one of my greatest accomplishments. I mean, you finally did something for yourself and you won gold. We were able to accomplish so much. But as for your father, I really, really just wanted you to beat him on your own merits because I wanted there to be no excuse for you being better than him. But now that you’re going to start making your own decisions like a man, I should probably be proud of you for that too. The only problem is, it’s the last decision you’ll ever make.”
Interesting stuff, right? Well, luckily for WWE, everything went back to stasis when Morgan started speaking, as she seemed to be the crowd’s least favorite, even if Ripley wasn’t far behind.

“Oh my goodness, oh Rhea, please,” Morgan replied. “There’s only one thing – there’s only one thing you said that’s true, and that’s that Dominik is a man and he’s all mine. I mean, look at yourself, Rhea, you literally have nothing. Look at yourself. You have no family, your real family is a million miles away, and the family you thought you found on Judgement Day? I took it. It’s mine. Dominik? He’s mine. The Women’s World Championship? It’s mine. I’m going to have Dominik’s sloppy seconds, all day, every day, and this women’s division is mine. Everything you loved is mine.”
“Are you done? You’re done, are you?” Ripley asked. “I’d like to tell you to shut the hell up. You said you took everything from me, but that’s actually wrong. Look, you took a lot from me, yes. A lot of my weaknesses. But the only thing you really did wrong was leaving me standing, Liv. And as long as I’m standing, I’m coming for you. And you’re going to have to kill me to stop me! And you know, it’s pretty flattering that you love the sound of your own voice, because we were able to find out exactly where you are.”
Before Morgan or Mysterio could react, Damian Priest appeared from behind and began fighting with the duo, resulting in a RAW Match against Carlito and a mixed tag match between the two pairs at Party in Berlinwith the exiled Judgment Day duo now (apparently) known as the Terror Twins. All in all, a very indeed a strange development.
