A Somerset County man is facing charges for allegedly shooting at people who confronted him about driving up and down the street after midnight with loud music.

NBC affiliate WJAC reported that 37-year-old Joseph Paruch was driving back and forth on Hoffman Church Road in Jenner Township between 1 and 3 a.m. Sunday morning while playing loud music.

One time, he allegedly parked his vehicle at a nearby church and one of the neighbors confronted him about the music and asked him to leave.

WJAC reports that Paruch then blocked an intersection with his car, grabbed a rifle and fired shots at the victims’ home and vehicle.

Witnesses also said he appeared to be drunk and they found an empty beer can on the street.

Paruch is being held in the Somerset County Jail on $250,000 bail and faces several charges, including attempted murder.
