Shortly before the end of the summer transfer window, several FC Barcelona players are on the verge of being released.

At the top of the list of unpopular players is Vitor Roque, who was barely able to secure a regular place in the first team last season and was also unable to convince coach Hansi Flick in the US preparations.

Barcelona has informed Roque of its intentions

Well, according to World SportsBarcelona has already informed Vitor Roque that he has to look for a new club.

If he stays in the team, there is a significant risk that Barça will not be able to sign him for the coming season due to ongoing problems with La Liga’s salary cap.

Despite Roque’s potential and the initial excitement surrounding his arrival, the financial constraints imposed by La Liga’s salary regulations mean the club must offload players to balance its balance sheet.

Julian Araujo is already on the verge of leaving: the right-back is to be sold to AFC Bournemouth for 10 million euros.

There have also been reports that Vitor Roque Araujo could join the English team. Interest has also been documented from Serie A.

Why does Barcelona want to get rid of Roque so badly?

Roque’s departure is seen as a necessary step to reduce the salary burden and ensure compliance with league rules.

The Catalan record champions do not rule out additional reinforcements in the left wing and defensive midfield positions, but must first clear the ballast from the team.

Furthermore, the rise of Pau has made Victor Roque an expendable player. The Spanish striker took the US preseason by storm and has established himself as a worthy replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
