It’s hard to believe, but Construction Simulator® is already on its fourth mobile entry. When it was released in May of this year, it introduced a number of new features, including a new setting, new vehicles, new gameplay, and more.

And now you can try before you buy, thanks to a “lite” version you can download for free, which lets you try out the experience and unlock the rest with a single IAP for just $5.

This means you have the full experience from the moment you purchase, without having to start over.

But why a new version when versions 2 and 3 are still so popular? Maik Flade, PR manager at astragon, quickly provides an answer.

“With Construction Simulator® 4We want to offer players new content in a fresh and unique place, improve the experience and continue to meet the expectations of the community.”

This unique location is Pinewood Bay, a fictional region inspired by Canada, of all places, set on one large map – a first for the series – in three different areas.

There are also new vehicles, the list includes over 80. That’s 30 more than the last entry, and all are fully licensed as usual. Look forward to looking behind the highly detailed cockpit of construction vehicles from manufacturers such as MAN, WIRTGEN GROUP and Bomag.

Flade puts it this way: “Compared to its predecessor Construction Simulator® 4 offers an even greater range of functions.

“The diverse fleet offers the right equipment for a wide range of construction challenges.”

And now you can complete all your building projects with the help of a friend, thanks to the integration of cooperative multiplayer. “In Construction Simulator® 4“Players can complete construction projects together in cooperative multiplayer mode – for the first time in the history of the mobile series,” says Flade.

The mobile version contains a number of sophisticated features that Flade particularly highlights: “In my opinion, control is one of the most important pillars of Construction Simulator ®.

“Combined with first-person mode, the controls can provide a new level of realism and immersion.”

This includes “tilt control or gamepad” support for those who aren’t touch fans. If you’re new to mobile games or just the series, have no fear. There’s a detailed tutorial that will teach you the basics of all the building missions.

According to Flade: “You get access to special tutorial missions for each individual machine type included in the game, which teach you step by step how a machine works.”

If you want to try it out, you can do so for free by registering Construction Simulator® 4 Lite from the App Store or Google Play. If you like what you see, you can upgrade at any time for just $5 to continue playing the full version without losing your progress.
