In this quick guide, we’ll explain how and when to start Tails with Tales to Tell, where to go to complete it, and what you’ll get for your (mild) problems. Let’s help this kid feel better about his lot in life!
How to start “Tails With Tales To Tell”
So here’s the thing. The starting points of Visions of Mana’s side quests can seem quite arbitrary; the formula seems to be a combination of three factors:
- Your current point in Main story;
- Whether she completed other side quests in the same area;
- Whether she leave and re-enter the area after you have done this.

After Niccolo’s first side quest is completed, an exclamation mark indicating a brand new side quest that took us not far from his trading centertowards two children named Maik and Lilytea. Chat with them to learn more about Lilytea’s awkward cock dilemma.
Continue to the Deade Cliffs and Longren
Our two destinations are Deade Cliffs and Longren. It doesn’t matter which one you head to first, but there Deade Cliffs is located on the same continent as Illystanawe got it over with first.
Speak to Beastwatcher Harbadriswhich can be found just before the meridian in front of the settlement of Deade Cliffs. One opinion is settled, one remains.
Go to the coast so you call VuscavAnd ride him to Longrenhere you will find Oracle-in-training Rengei about where Careena performed the dyeing ceremony.
Talk to her to get your second opinion – it seems that Lilytea has little cause for concern.
Complete the quest
Return to Maik in Ilystanaand you will learn that Lilytea ran away to take matters into her own hands. Your final destination for this side quest is Pritta Ridge; forgive to the meridian in the center of the mapand go a little east to find her in danger.
Fend off enemies in this fast-paced battle, which, frankly, won’t cause you any grief at all. Watch the poignant scene that follows!
