Air Force Academy Athletics

Air Force will open the 2024 season with a game against Merrimack on Saturday, August 31, at 1:30 p.m. at Falcon Stadium. Stadium gates and ticket counters will open two hours prior to kickoff. Early arrivals are always encouraged.

Air Force Athletics announced today that numerous new fan experiences will be introduced during Air Force football games in the 2024 season. In addition to long-standing traditions such as the Cadet March, the Wings of Blue parachute demonstration team and flyovers, new fan experiences will be introduced during the upcoming football season.

Kucera Legacy Center: The addition of the Kucera Legacy Center will have a positive impact on all fans at Falcon Stadium. Restroom capacity, food and beverage options, and the number of entrances and exits have quadrupled in size and volume. Heritage Plaza and a large, covered concourse maximize efficiency at Falcon Stadium.

The East Club presented by L3Harris at the Kucera Legacy Center: The East Club, presented by L3Harris at the Kucera Legacy Center, features 850 new premium indoor seats and offers an unparalleled fan experience at Falcon Stadium. The outlook: As part of the Kucera Legacy Center construction project, 350 new premium outdoor bench seats with backrests were installed at the Overlook. Central Ticket Service Office: A new central ticket service office is located on the northeast corner of the Kucera Legacy Center and will provide ticket sales, customer service, pickup service, visiting team assistance and pass roster recruitment. All ticket purchases must be made with a debit or credit card.



Food and Drink: Air Force Athletics launched a new partnership with Falcon Hospitality on July 1, 2024. Falcon Hospitality will open a new commercial kitchen at the Kucera Legacy Center, introduce grab-and-go technology and rebrand the west side concessions, in addition to new concession concepts and signature menu items. Air Force Athletics is cashless and all purchases must be made with debit card, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.



Fanatics Team Shop: Fanatics will open a new team store on the concourse of the Kucera Legacy Center’s Heritage Plaza. The team store will implement new self-checkout technology. Additional equipment sales locations will be installed throughout Falcon Stadium. All transactions at the team store will be cashless and purchases must be made with a debit card, credit card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.



LED stadium lighting: All stadium lighting at Falcon Stadium has been upgraded to new LED technology. The new system enables light shows to be used at various times during games and special events.



New branding and new signposts: Air Force branding throughout the Kucera Legacy Center has been significantly enhanced and all directional and section signage throughout Falcon Stadium has been updated.

External events and room rentals: In addition to modernizing the food and beverage offering, Falcon Hospitality takes care of room rental for external events such as meetings, corporate receptions, weddings and more. For more information on room rental, click here: HERE.

Falkengasse: Falcon Alley is managed by Diversus Health and will be the largest ever at Falcon Stadium. Fans are invited to pregame activities three hours before kickoff to enjoy games, bounce houses, food, Air Force-themed festivities and interact with Air Force teams. Partners will vary by game and there will be over 15 new experiences and activities. Falcon Alley is open to fans of all ages and admission and enjoyment is free.

Falcon migration: The Falcon Walk will take place approximately two hours and fifteen minutes prior to kickoff and will begin between the northeast corner of the Kucera Legacy Center and Falcon Alley.

Fireworks and pyrotechnics: When the Falcons take the field, score and win, enhanced fireworks and pyrotechnics will be used!



South end zone: The Falcon Athletic Fund will provide a new look to the south end zone. Field level boxes can be purchased for the season or for individual games. Each box includes 12 tickets and access to food and beverages during the game. Falcon Stadium Access Policies



NOTE: There is no facility to store prohibited items. Please return the items to the vehicle.

 

Note: Entrance to the East Club, presented by L3 Harris, at the Kucera Legacy Center opens 2 ½ hours prior to kickoff.

  • Tailgating after the game ends 2 hours later the end of every football game.
  • All persons/personal belongings are subject to search. If you do not agree, you will be denied access.

  • BAGS: A CLEAR BAGS POLICY applies to events at Falcon Stadium

    • APPROVED BAGS: One clear plastic/vinyl/PVC bag per ticket holder measuring 12″ x 12″ x 12″ or less; one clear zip lock bag measuring 1 gallon; one small clutch or fanny pack measuring 5.5″ x 7.5″ or less. Diaper bags are permitted for infants and may be searched.
    • BAGS NOT ALLOWED: Backpacks, camera/binocular bags, bota bags, camelbacks, mesh bags, large printed bags, large purses, tinted plastic bags, oversized tote bags.

  • APPROVED BEVERAGES/BOTTLES: Only factory sealed soft or empty containers containing 24 oz. or less are permitted.

    • NOT PERMITTED DRINKS/BOTTLES: Alcohol, glass containers, bottles/cans, hard plastic bottles, open cups/containers

  • EAT: Allowed if tickets are brought in a transparent 3.8 litre zip lock bag – one bag per ticket holder

*NOTE: For medical reasons and for young children, exceptions may be made for certain foods and beverages.
**NOTE: No outside food or beverages are permitted in the East Club and Blue Silver Club.

  • PROHIBITED ITEMS:

    • Illegal substances (marijuana is an illegal substance on federal property).
    • Weapons (including but not limited to: firearms, knives of any type/size, pepper spray/other aerosols, stun guns, keychains/key chains for self-defense, any items that can be used as projectiles or are deemed unsafe by venue management and/or security personnel)
    • Laser pointers, fireworks or other items deemed unsafe by venue management or security personnel
    • Unapproved banners/signs (no signs larger than 18″ x 24″)
    • Pets (except ADA compliant service animals)
    • Sticks, bats, poles, umbrellas, Frisbees, footballs/balls of all kinds, including inflatable balls
    • Artificial noisemakers of all kinds
    • Child seats, large strollers (folding buggies are allowed)
    • All items that cannot be easily verified
    • No flash, no camera tripods
    • Smoking, vaping or tobacco of any kind
    • Aerosol sprays
    • Seat backs wider than 18 inches (no excessive pockets, coverable areas or protruding armrests)

  • RE-ENTRY: NOT allowed in Falcon Stadium.

  • CADETS: You must show a military ID and a ticket to the game. Backpacks are allowed but will be searched prior to entry. Empty water bottles are permitted. Food is permitted in clear, sealable 1-gallon bags.


Code of Conduct for Fans

*The following behavior will not be tolerated and will result in automatic expulsion*

– Verbal/physical harassment of the home/away team, fans, match management or match officials.
– Any foul, obscene, offensive or abusive language, gestures or actions that are disruptive or illegal.
– Ethnic intimidation of any kind. i.e. insults based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion or creed.
– Intoxication or signs of alcohol/substance impairment leading to irresponsible behavior.
– Disrupting the game or throwing objects onto the playing field or the event area.
– Fighting and/or any behavior that endangers/threatens the safety of others.
– Indecent exposure or wearing obscene or indecent clothing.
