Attack on Titan gets new theme park ride based on the Battle of Liberio

Attack on Titan has announced a new theme park attraction called “Attack on Titan THE RIDE – Battle of Liberio” that will open on September 17 as part of the franchise’s collaboration with Fuji-Q Highland. They are currently offering a joint attraction called “Attack on Titan THE RIDE: Final Operation to Retake Wall Maria” that runs until August 31.

The new attraction continues to use flight simulation and features a giant 20-meter-diameter hemispherical screen, seats that move in sync with the images, and dynamic sound effects for the raid on Liberio.

Visitors can take on the role of a new recruit to the Survey Corps and join Levi, Mikasa and Jean as they assist Eren in his battle against five powerful Titans. The setting is the Liberio Internment Zone, where visitors will experience thrilling battles while floating freely through the night sky. The visuals will be Japan’s first fully realistic CG visuals, and there will also be original merchandise featuring the real fully CG visuals available for purchase.

Studio MAPPA animated the anime adaptation of Hajime Isayama’s manga from season 4 onwards. There will also be a compilation film for the finale in November.
