Position summary
Taokaenoi USA is looking for an entrepreneurial, growth-oriented Sales and Account Manager to increase our brand awareness and expand our market presence. This role is integral to developing and implementing strategic sales and marketing initiatives to promote our products and increase revenue. The ideal candidate will manage sales logistics, service major retail accounts, and participate in events and promotions. This position offers a unique opportunity to combine a passion for snacks with expertise in sales and marketing to grow our business. A bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of relevant experience or a relevant combination of education and experience is required. Knowledge of Thai is a plus.
Roles and responsibilities
Position Purpose
Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing initiatives to promote our products and increase revenue. The Sales and Account Manager will work closely with major retail accounts, attend industry events and increase visibility of our brand.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Work with management to develop comprehensive sales and marketing plans (including budgets) to achieve your sales goals and optimize sales to major retailers.
- Manage account target lists to improve sales efficiency and generate new business opportunities.
- Work with key account and channel partners to introduce new product SKUs and set annual goals.
- Coordinate with operations team to ensure adequate inventory levels, timely production and packaging for new product launch.
- Plan and execute Taokaenoi USA’s presence at promotions, events and trade shows to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Implement and manage marketing campaigns across various physical and digital channels, including social media and email, to promote our brand and products.
- Analyze sales and marketing data to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to ensure Taokaenoi USA is well positioned in the market and initiate actions for growth.
- Conduct pricing analysis and develop strategies to ensure competitive pricing while maximizing company margins.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the food or natural products industry.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the grocery and club sector, including retailers such as Costco and Walmart, is a plus
- Strong communication skills and team orientation.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on sales and marketing.
- Passion for snacks.
- In-depth knowledge of retail distribution channels.
- Ability to plan and prioritize work with attention to detail.
- Creative and original thinking.
- High self-motivation.
Special position requirements
- Willingness to work both during and outside of normal business hours, including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
- Available for overnight travel.
- Knowledge of Thai is an advantage.
Requirements
