Arts In Reach welcomes new board members
DURHAM — Arts In Reach announced the appointment of three distinguished new members to its board of directors. The organization welcomes Andrea Allen, Joseph Keefe and Francie Osgood to the AIR family.
Allen brings extensive experience in education and philanthropy. As a founding member of the Seacoast Women’s Giving Circle and executive director of Education for All Children, Allen has demonstrated a deep commitment to advancing educational opportunities and community development.
Keefe is a renowned expert in sustainable investing and advancing gender equality. With over 26 years of leadership experience in financial services, including as CEO of Impax Asset Management and co-founder of the Thirty Percent Coalition, Keefe’s expertise will be invaluable to AIR’s mission and strategic growth.
Osgood has a rich background in journalism, marketing and graphic design. Her deep passion for youth service and community engagement aligns perfectly with AIR’s goals. Osgood’s skills and dedication will be instrumental in advancing AIR’s initiatives and community outreach.

Baker Newman Noyes Announces Executive Promotions in NH
PORTSMOUTH — Baker Newman Noyes (BNN), a nationally recognized top 100 accounting and advisory firm, has announced eight senior-level promotions in its Portsmouth and Manchester offices. The following promotions affect managers and senior executives in the firm’s tax, assurance and operations departments.

Higher level promotions in Portsmouth
- Amy CroninCPA from New Hampshire, was promoted to Senior Manager in the tax practice. She specializes in income tax compliance and planning for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and owner-managed businesses. She enjoys building long-term relationships with her clients and working to become a valued business advisor. She joined the firm in 2015. Amy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with honors from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
- Lauren Litchfield, PMP from Portsmouth, New Hampshire, was promoted to manager in the consulting practice. She assists clients with strategic planning, governance and operational structure, program development, systems selection and implementation, and process redesign. Before joining BNN, Litchfield worked in operations and IT at a Boston hospital. She holds a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management and policy from the University of New Hampshire.
These promotions were announced as part of 25 senior-level promotions at the company’s offices in Manchester, New Hampshire; Portsmouth, New Hampshire; Woburn, Massachusetts; Boston, Massachusetts; and Portland, Maine.
Kennebunk Savings welcomes new board members
KENNEBUNK, Maine — Kennebunk Savings has elected five new members to its board of directors. The new board members bring diverse professional experiences, local ties and involvement in our communities, all of which will help guide future growth and ensure a continued commitment to our customers, communities and employees.
John Bosen will bring his extensive legal expertise. Bosen recently joined Donahue, Tucker & Ciandella in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, as a partner after founding and leading Bosen & Associates in Portsmouth since 2004. Bosen specializes in real estate, commercial lending, zoning and land use, and business law. He will also be recognized for his community involvement, including his current role on the board of the St. Nicholas Foundation.
Michael “Wes” Macleod-Ball brings a rich background in law and advocacy. A founding member of Bergen & Parkinson in Kennebunk, Macleod-Ball moved to the American Civil Liberties Union for several years. He has returned to Bergen & Parkinson, where he is now of counsel providing strategic management and policy advice to corporations, developers and nonprofits. He is also an adjunct professor teaching administrative law and critical thinking at the University of Mississippi.
Nichole Raftopoulos, CEO and founder of Nvest Financial, joins the board of directors and focuses on financial planning and client education. With a Master of Science degree in financial planning and multiple professional designations, Nichole’s expertise is critical to meeting the comprehensive financial needs of her clients. She also leads her company’s marketing arm and leads its philanthropic work through the nonprofit Operation Love…from home.
Richard “Rick” Simonds Jr. brings over 25 years of extensive technology and cybersecurity experience to the board. Simonds’ career spanned 15 years at Sage Data Security, culminating in the role of President and COO, and most recently as Vice President and General Manager at Tyler Technologies. His focus on data privacy has been a consistent theme throughout his professional career.
Kathleen Torpey Chase is the owner and president of TLAdvisory. The firm provides advisory services to start-up companies and assists with strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and divestitures. Torpey Chase brings over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, including leadership roles at Artel, EnviroLogix, and IDEXX Laboratories. She holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science from Manhattan College. Torpey Chase is also involved in the community and is actively involved on the board of the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire and in the Manhattan College mentorship program.
Mitchell Genkinger joins Northwestern Mutual – Portsmouth, NH
PORTSMOUTH — – Mitchell Genkinger has joined leading financial security firm Northwestern Mutual – Portsmouth, NH as a Financial Representative, effective July 31, 2024.
In his new role, Genkinger will join a team of specialists offering a broad range of products. As part of his comprehensive financial planning, he will provide expert advice and innovative solutions for a variety of financial needs and goals.
