Everything you need to know about buying tickets

First the good news: If you’re dreaming of snapping up tickets for Oasis’ 2025 UK reunion tour, now’s the time to do so. Ever since infamously feuding brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher shocked the world this week by announcing they’d put their legendary differences behind them for the comeback no one thought possible, anticipation for the series to go on sale across the British Isles has exploded.

And today (August 28) is the day for fans to dig out their anoraks and Adidas tracksuits in anticipation of reliving their 1990s Britpop heydays. Registration for the ticket pre-sale draw is now open and will remain open until 7pm BST (2pm ET) before the actual pre-sale begins on Friday (August 30), followed by a general sale on Saturday (August 31). Fans who want to take part in the early sale will need to fill out a form with their contact details and answer a general knowledge quiz about the band to beat the bots.

After filling out the general details, fans are taken to a screen that says: “Do you hate touts? Please help us make this fair and fan-focused by answering the following questions.” And while they have no say in whether the ballot is accepted, the questions include: “How many Oasis concerts have you been to?”, “Who was the drummer in the original Oasis line-up?” and “Where would you like to see Oasis?”

Given the high level of interest in the shows, a final message states that there may be delays in the delivery of confirmation emails due to the “extremely high volume of entries”. All successful entrants will receive their code by Friday midday BST (7am ET); if you do not receive a code, your application was unsuccessful. The lucky fans who receive a code can only claim one, and the fine print states that the codes have no cash value and are “non-transferable, case sensitive and valid for one-time use only for a limited number of tickets during the pre-sale period”. The code must be used with the email address it was originally sent to.

Tickets for the shows are limited to four per person and only tickets purchased through approved retailers are valid. An unspecified limited number of tickets will be available in the pre-sale window to all successful pre-sale participants on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no guarantee that successful pre-sale participants will be able to use their code to purchase tickets for any of the dates.

The rules also state that resale of tickets is permitted “for no more than the price you paid (face value + booking fees)”, noting that the only permitted resale partners are Ticketmaster and www.twickets.live and that sales through unauthorised platforms may result in cancellation of tickets.

At the time of writing, there was no official confirmation of ticket prices for the 14 announced shows, but the BBC reported that prices for GA, Platinum and VIP will be announced on Thursday (29 August).

After splitting up more than 15 years ago due to tensions between singer Liam Gallagher and the band’s musical stalwart, guitarist and singer Noel Gallagher, the feuding brothers announced on Tuesday that they would be touring next summer for a series of 14 stadium shows in Cardiff, their hometown of Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin. No further international dates for Oasis Live 25 have been announced so far, but a press release promised that “plans are afoot to perform Oasis Live 25 on other continents outside of Europe over the course of next year.”
