Hersheypark will open the Twizzlers Twisted Gravity attraction in summer 2025

Next summer, a Twizzlers-themed attraction will grace the Hersheypark skyline. It’s being billed as the “world’s tallest screamin’ swing.”

The pendulum attraction called TWizzlers – Twisted Gravity will rise 137 feet high and reach speeds of 68 miles per hour, the Dauphin County theme park announced Tuesday.

The ride lasts one minute and ten seconds and is available for guests 48 to 54 inches tall and taller. The ride’s tall poles are bright red, reminiscent of Twizzlers. Passengers ride in gondolas designed with strawberry, cherry and licorice flavors of Twizzlers, as well as Hershey’s chocolate.

The new attraction will be located in the Hollow region of Hersheypark, which is home to roller coasters such as Skyrush, SooperDooperLooper and the recently renovated Comet. After its debut in summer 2025, Twizzlers Twisted Gravity will be open all four seasons at Hersheypark.

“We continue to invest in attractions that leverage unique Hershey brands, so we’re excited to add a Twizzlers-branded Screamin’ Swing to our unmatched ride portfolio next summer,” said Vikki Hultquist, vice president of Hersheypark & ​​Entertainment Operations, in a press release. “Twizzlers Twisted Gravity will give our guests the best of both worlds – the ultimate thrill and unprecedented views of our park’s beautiful 300 acres as they soar to record-breaking heights and defy gravity.”

The Twizzlers Twisted Gravity attraction in Hershey Park has a height of 42 meters and reaches speeds of 110 km/h.

Twizzlers candies were first produced in 1929 by Young & Smylie, a Lancaster company that was acquired by the Hershey Company in 1977. In addition to the upcoming shuttle ride, the twisty red treat is represented at Pennsylvania’s largest theme park with a Twizzlers character, a size category and a themed train on the Candymonium roller coaster.
