SGC Gate Room (BlueBrixx)

The long-awaited Stargate Command The brick building kit has finally arrived, courtesy of BlueBrixx.

We first saw the SGC Gate Room set (in its final colors) from BlueBrixx in July, and now it’s finally in stock and ready to ship. Fans can find the set on the Germany-based company’s official website, but if you’re not in Europe, expect shipping costs.

The SGC Gate Room consists of a whopping 2,430 pieces and is officially licensed by MGM. It measures 43.3 x 27.8 x 21.7 centimeters. In addition to the familiar sights of the Stargate (with optional event horizon and iris!), the ramp, the MALP and the UAV, the set also includes the very first SG-1 minifigures from BlueBrixx: Jack O’Neill, Daniel Jackson, Samantha Carter and Teal’c – complete with his tiny staff weapon.

The attention to detail is really nice here, from the doors opening and closing to the trail of fire coming from the UAV taking off, from the inclusion of all 39 symbols on the Stargate to the optional active or inactive chevron parts. Check out BlueBrixx’s showcase video below for a closer look.

The Gate Room set costs €159.95, which is about $179 (or £135). Another recent video from BlueBrixx previewed a smaller off-Earth adventure set featuring the SG-1 team, a Stargate set on a base with steps, a DHD, and more.

And this fantastic looking Stargate Advent Calendarpacked with parts to build 10 different micro scenes from Stargate SG-1 And Atlantis? It is now listed on the company’s website along with the first official images:

With 844 pieces, perhaps the most interesting for Stargate fans are the 15 brand new minifigures of our favorite characters. We’re still identifying all the scenes and characters pictured here, but you can definitely spot Jack O’Neill playing golf, Todd the Wraith, the ascended Daniel versus Anubis (from “Full Circle”), John Sheppard and Carson Beckett, a trio of Nox, Jack in an EVA suit (from “Fail Safe”), and more.

We expect the calendar to ship in time for the 2024 holidays, but it’s important to note that it doesn’t have a date. The 24 numbered doors will provide just as much fun for the family (or the Stargate collector in your life) any holiday season.

The BlueBrixx website also sells various Stargate ships, from Prometheus to a Wraith Cruiser, as well as the Brick Buddy figures and Stargate Chevron we introduced in May. The Zero Point Module kit was also announced, but is not yet available.

Stay up to date with the entire collection on GateWorld’s new BlueBrixx page in our Toys & Games section!

Thanks to Nathan and Marton for the tip!
