Prince Harrys record-breaking memoirs, spare part, will be published in autumn as a new paperback edition.

Penguin Random House confirmed on Tuesday, August 27, that the Duke of Sussex’s bestseller will be reissued in the United States on October 22.

While paperback editions of books typically include new chapters or additional information, Penguin Random House confirmed that “the new edition will have the same cover image as the hardback edition, redesigned packaging, and the contents of the book will remain unchanged.”

Spare part was originally released on January 10, 2023 and sold over 6 million copies worldwide across all formats. Spare part also holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest-selling non-fiction book of all time.

Harry’s memoir was divided into three parts and looked back at his royal childhood in the spotlight, including the death of his mother in 1997. Princess DianaThe book also highlighted his career in the British Army and his relationship with Meghan Markle.

Harry, 39, and Markle, 43, married in St. George’s Chapel in May 2018. Their children Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3, were born later.

“I write this not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become,” Harry said ahead of the release of his book. “I have worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and I hope that by telling my story – the ups and downs, the mistakes, the lessons I have learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.”

Ultimately, Harry’s book caused quite a stir in the royal family thanks to some sensational allegations, including an alleged attack on Harry by Prince William during a dispute over Markle in 2019. (Buckingham Palace has not commented on Harry’s book.)

Despite the headlines, Harry stressed that his book was not intended to portray any particular person in a bad light. Rather, he wanted to speak the truth and provide a rare insight into his reality.

“Although I know that much of my life seems incomprehensible, I think most siblings can relate to the struggle with comparison, and my brother and I are no exception,” he said. People in January 2023. “I don’t want to tell anyone what to think, and that includes my family. This book and its truths are in many ways a continuation of my own mental health journey. It’s an unvarnished account of my life – the good, the bad, and everything in between.”
