PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Hersheypark has announced that a Twizzlers-themed attraction will be coming to the park next summer.
In a press release on Tuesday, Hersheypark announced that Twizzlers Twisted Gravity will open at the park in summer 2025. The press release said the pendulum attraction will be the “world’s tallest screamin’ swing.”
The ride lasts 1 minute and 10 seconds, takes passengers 137 feet in the air and reaches speeds of 68 miles per hour. Passengers will also “experience several mind-altering moments in zero gravity as they swing high above Spring Creek in the Hollow region of Hersheypark,” the press release states.
“We are excited to add a Twizzlers-branded Screamin’ Swing to our unmatched ride portfolio next summer,” said Vikki Hultquist, vice president of Hersheypark & Entertainment Operations, in the press release. “Twizzlers Twisted Gravity offers our guests the best of both worlds – the ultimate thrill and unprecedented views of our park’s beautiful 300 acres as they soar to record-breaking heights and defy gravity.”
Hersheypark is the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania. It offers more than 70 rides, a water park and a zoo.
