NORTH PLATTE, Nebraska (KNOP) – Tuesday will be drier and a bit cooler, as our weather rollercoaster continues for the rest of the week.
The cold front that was west of us on Monday has now passed through the area. It will bring drier air to the region and temperatures will be a little cooler on Tuesday, with values between 27 and 30 degrees. Sunny skies and light winds will also be the theme on Tuesday. Lows at night will fall to 10 to 15 degrees, with skies being mostly clear.
During the course of Wednesday, a fast-moving high pressure area will move eastwards. This will cause our temperatures to quickly rise again to 35 to 35 degrees Celsius, with predominantly sunny skies. This passage will only last a short time, however, as a cold front will pass through on the night from Wednesday to Thursday. Isolated thunderstorms are possible while this front passes through. This will cause temperatures to cool again during the day on Thursday to 24 to 27 degrees Celsius. Another high pressure area, this time a little slower, will move through the region on Friday and Saturday, causing temperatures to rise again to 27 to 30 degrees Celsius, with predominantly sunny skies. During the night from Saturday to Sunday, another cold front will pass through, causing temperatures to fall again from Sunday to Monday to 25 to 27 degrees Celsius, with predominantly sunny skies.
