CALS welcomes students with a large wolf pack

NC State University welcomed new and returning students to campus last week with a series of events aimed at connecting students, building community and celebrating the start of the fall semester.

The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences joined in the excitement of the season at Packapalooza, the university’s campus-wide celebration of the start of the new school year. CALS also showcased student resources, clubs and organizations at CALS Connection. And the college prepared for students arriving on campus in the spring through the Spring Connect and STEAM (Student Transition Enrollment Advising and Mentoring) programs.

Check out how much fun the CALS students had exploring the different ways to get involved as members of the Wolf Pack!

CALS STEAM Spring Connect students met at the Talley Student Union on August 24 to learn how to prepare for membership in the CALS Pack. The STEAM program helps make higher education more accessible to rural students interested in agriculture-related majors in partnership with community colleges.
