Please welcome the new author of TOC: Brian Goral

Hey everyone! I told you there was more good news. The Only Colors is bringing on board a fourth author. I am absolutely thrilled to be working with this team. We all talked about the collaboration on video call this morning. I can’t stress this enough: these guys are going to be really good and I think you’re all going to really enjoy reading their work.

You’ve already seen a few posts from Mike Homes. Steve Neumann just published his first article. And now I’d like to introduce you to the new addition, Brian Goral. Here’s a short bio he wrote to introduce himself:

“Hi everyone! My name is Brian, I’m a Chemistry/HC graduate and a diehard MSU fan living in the Washington DC area. I’ve been following TOC since about 2011.

I joined the MSU rugby team when I first came to campus until I got injured, so I became a rower instead for the next three years. I tutored, worked in a biochemistry lab, enjoyed the late-night basketball courts at IM West, and became captain of the Overthinking Asking a Girl Out team after a groundbreaking campaign my freshman year. I’m a bit of a nerd and sometimes funny, sometimes on purpose.

I look forward to writing lots of stories, asking all of you for your thoughts on the topics as I go along, and from time to time covering some non-revenue sports teams… as it turns out, MSU has some excellent teams.

To be completely honest, I got my master’s degree from an out-of-state basketball school on the East Coast, but there are no mixed or confused loyalties there at all. Go Green.”

Please join me in welcoming Brian to the team. In honor of this new era of TOC, I’ve decided to change the look and feel of the site. I hope you all enjoy the new and improved TOC. Please tell all your Spartan friends about the good things happening here and let’s grow our community to record size.

Only 4 days left until kick-off!!!
