Action star Arnold Schwarzenegger and his son Joseph Baena were recently spotted enjoying a leisurely bike ride in Toronto, Canada. The father-son duo, wearing matching blue t-shirts, dark shorts and loafers, were caught on camera on August 26. Schwarzenegger is currently in Canada filming the second season of his Netflix series FUBAR.
Like his father, Baena aspires to an acting career, but prefers to forge his own path without relying on his famous last name. In an interview with Men’s Health in 2022, he stressed that he believes in hard work and achieving success.
Baena is the son of Schwarzenegger and Mildred Baena, his former housekeeper. Schwarzenegger also has four children with his ex-wife Maria Shriver. Despite the circumstances of Baena’s birth, Schwarzenegger has expressed his love and appreciation for his son in his 2023 Netflix docuseries “Arnold.”
In a recent PEOPLE interview to promote his book, Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life, Schwarzenegger shared his wisdom on work-life balance and the importance of financial independence, even for aspiring actors. He also talked about his personal development and his greater appreciation for other people’s feelings.
