I FINISHED WRITING “THE FRACTURED MIRROR”!

I am embarrassed that on this website The joy of garbage is still listed as a new book. I released it three years ago and although I’m enormously proud of it, especially the expanded version, it didn’t sell as well as I would have liked, nor did it get much attention.

That scared me. I had a lot of faith in the book. I hoped it would bring people to the website and lead to exciting opportunities. That didn’t happen and I lost a lot of faith because of it.

That’s one of the reasons why it took me so long to finish The broken mirror. I really want this to work and I know only too well how difficult it is to sell books on your own.

I can’t wait for you to see the finished product. I can’t wait to see it for myself. There’s nothing better than holding a book in your hands for the first time.

I can’t wait to see my words combined with the artwork of my illustrator Felipe Sobreiro. He did an exceptional job that makes the whole thing at least twice as good.

I don’t know if The broken mirror will be a commercial success, but I know that I have written a book like no other currently exists. I suspect that The broken mirror is the only book in which Bucky Larson: Born to be a star is immediately followed by Burden of dreams. It’s a work of serious film scholarship that’s also a lot of fun to read. If you like my writing (and you wouldn’t be here otherwise), you’re going to love it, my goodness.

I hope this will inspire many double screenings of the two films.

I want to promote this bitch as widely as possible, so if you want to interview me or have me on your podcast or do a book signing at your bookstore or cannabis dispensary, just email me at [email protected]

I did it! I did it! I finished my ninth book. I also finished my tenth book, my first novel, but that’s a story for another blog post.
