Quick response: We recommend using Sling’s Orange + Blue plan and Sports Extra add-on to watch SEC online this season.

The 2024 college football season begins on August 29, and as in recent years, the SEC will dominate. The Southeastern Conference has produced the last four national champions and 12 of its 14 teams made bowl games last season. With the addition of Texas and Oklahoma to the conference, the competition is now tougher than ever.

But no matter which SEC team (or teams) you want to follow, you need a way to watch every SEC football game live. If you’ve been without cable since last season, we recommend Sling, a live TV streaming service that’s cheaper than its competitors but just as good at live streaming SEC football games. Read on for a full explanation of how to watch SEC football with Sling, as well as details on the 2024 SEC football season.

How to watch SEC football online without cable

This year, SEC broadcasts will be split between ESPN, SEC Network, ABC and CBS. Some games will also air on SEC+, a digital platform (not a TV channel) that can be accessed with login credentials from most cable, satellite or live TV streaming services.

If you don’t have cable, it can be very difficult to find a way to stream all of these channels. Luckily, there is one streaming service that will give you live access to almost all of the SEC game live streams this season: Sling.

Sling’s Orange + Blue plan gives you access to ESPN and ABC live streams, and you can use Sling’s Sports Extra add-on to get SEC Network live streams and access to SEC+. With this setup, you can stream virtually every SEC football game during the 2024 season.

As for pricing, you can currently prepay for four months of Sling for the NFL and college football seasons with Orange & Blue + Sports Extra starting at $199. Normally, the Orange + Blue plan starts at $60 per month and the Sports Extra add-on costs $15, but Sling is currently running a special “Prepay and Save” deal where you can get five months of Sling Orange + Blue and Sports Extra for just $199 — $100 less than this combo would normally cost. This is the best deal we’ve spotted for streaming NFL/college football, and you can snag it here.

2024 SEC football teams standings

Looking ahead to the 2024 season, this year is a bit uncertain. Missouri and Ole Miss are trying to build on their breakout seasons, and the addition of Oklahoma and Texas means there are more contenders than ever. With a win over Washington, Michigan broke the SEC’s streak of four consecutive national titles. Other top SEC teams are familiar from last year: Alabama and LSU from the SEC West both look strong again, and Tennessee and Kentucky from the East are also poised to have good seasons.
