The last Grand Slam tennis tournament of the year is just around the corner and the first matches have already begun in New York City.

The first match at Arthur Ashe Stadium in 2024 will be that of 13th-seeded American Ben Shelton, a semifinalist last year, against Dominic Thiem, the 2020 US Open champion who retires after this season. That match is scheduled to start at 12 noon, followed by Coco Gauff’s match against Varvara Gracheva at Ashe.

The evening session at Ashe on the first day begins at 7 p.m. with the duel between 2017 champion Sloane Stephens and Clara Burel, followed by Novak Djokovic and Radu Albot. Where is the US Open played?
