You’re turning 26 and having trouble finding health insurance? Tell us about it.

A hard-fought provision of the Affordable Care Act allows young adults to stay on their family’s health insurance plan until age 26. But after that, those without employer-sponsored insurance face a series of complicated decisions, including whether to shop through a health insurance exchange, apply for Medicaid or take the risk and remain uninsured.

Are you a young adult and don’t know how to navigate the exchanges where you can select plans? Have you purchased a plan on an ACA exchange and found out it doesn’t cover healthcare? Have you gotten married or taken a job just to be covered? Have you decided to forgo insurance?

Whatever your story, we want to hear from you for a project we’re doing with The New York Times.

We read every response to this questionnaire and will contact you if we want to learn more about your story. We won’t publish any part of your response without first contacting you, verifying your information, and hearing from you. And we will use your contact information solely to contact you.
