We will all remember where we were on that fateful day when Raygun (aka Rachael Gunn) showed off her MOVES at the Paris Olympics and became a true hero to those of us who are completely unsuited to half the things listed on her resume.
And if you, too, can’t talk about anything other than Raygun and her legacy, Adele seems to be helping you do just that. So much so that she recently interrupted a concert just to encourage her fans to watch clips of Raygun, saying, “That’s the only thing my friends and I have talked about.”
“I think this is the best thing that has happened at the Olympics in all time,” Adele said. “Did anyone see the breakdancing lady? I didn’t even know breakdancing was an Olympic sport these days. I think it’s fucking amazing. Honestly. I knew skateboarding had become an Olympic sport.”
She then turned to her band and said, “Aaron, my drummer, is laughing his head off just thinking about it. I can’t tell if it was a joke, but either way it made me very, very happy and my friends and I were pissing our pants laughing for almost 24 hours. I just wanted to know if you saw it, because if you didn’t, please leave the show and Google it.”
