GASTONIA, NC (WJZY/WNCN) – Police are searching for “brazen” armed robbery suspects who robbed a Gastonia convenience store and then robbed another store just 20 minutes later.

According to Gastonia police, the incident occurred at around 12:10 a.m. on Monday, August 19, at the Times Turn Around on South New Hope Road. Surveillance video shows three masked and armed individuals entering the business.

In the video, the suspects’ masks are completely visible except for their eyes, two are wearing hoodies and one is wearing bright blue shoes.

Officers said they arrived in a black Nissan Altima with dark tinted windows and black rims.

A fourth person waited in the car while the others entered the Turn Around store, police said.

“Help us get these dangerous people off the streets,” Gastonia police said.

Police believe the suspects also robbed a Circle K on Wilkinson Boulevard in Belmont 20 minutes after robbing the Turn Around.

“This was pretty brazen and we are concerned. The employees saw them coming and ran out the back door to safety,” a Gastonia police spokesman said.

Police have not released any details about what the suspects may have stolen from the stores.

Officials said anyone who recognizes the suspects should call Gastonia police at 704-866-6069.
