What impressive milestones did Dare to Run season 2 achieve?

The online running event “Dare to Run” is not only a sporting event, but also conveys a profound message of community solidarity.

So far, more than 2,800 participants have taken part and covered almost 450,000 km, far exceeding the original goal of 150,000 km.

The first season was a great success. I am very proud that Kusto Home was able to build on this success this year and organize the second season.

Our team took part in the race with particular enthusiasm and passion.

What are the main goals of this year’s Dare to Run season and how do these goals align with Kusto Home’s mission and strategic vision?

The first season of Dare to Run ran from September 25 to October 15, 2023.

It attracted more than 2,200 participants who covered 100,000 kilometers and raised 200 million VND (US$8,019) to fund the construction of a bridge in Song Ma district, Son La province, northern Vietnam.

This year, we set a distance goal of 150,000 km. Each kilometer will be converted into 1,000 VND, which corresponds to a fundraising goal of 150 million VND (6,014 USD) to build a bridge for children and residents in Tan Lap hamlet, Tan Quy Tay commune, Sa Dec city, Dong Thap province in southern Vietnam.

Another important goal is to strengthen the Darrior community after each season.

“Darrior” is the name we use for those who participate in Dare to Run, contributing directly to the charitable goals while achieving their personal running goals.

For me, the success of a company or businessman is measured not only by material wealth or money, but also by the positive value they create for the community.

Our vision at Kusto Home is to become one of the leading international real estate developers in Vietnam. Sustainability is the value we always strive for.

This sustainability is reflected not only in the “green” living aspects of our projects, but also in the positive contributions that we and the Darrior community can make to the community and society in Vietnam.

What factors do you think have contributed to the success of the season so far?

The fact that both the number of participants and the amount collected have exceeded the original goals just two weeks after the official start of the season is a very positive sign.

I am very pleased that the message of contributing to society through a healthy lifestyle and daily exercise has been so well received.

This season, the presence of athlete Nguyen Van Long as race ambassador and the 5h30 Club as media partner has helped to promote Dare to Run to many runners across the country.

I really appreciate both the results and the partnerships in organizing this year’s season.

What motivated Kusto Home to partner with the Hope Foundation again and select bridge building as a charity project for Dare to Run 2024?

Kusto Home highly values the Hope Foundation’s charitable projects because they provide real added value to society and are closely aligned with our mission to create a sustainable future.

In 2023, we successfully raised funds to build a bridge in Hin Pen Village, Song Ma District, Son La Province.

Looking again at the pictures before and after the bridge was completed in March, we can see that this project has brought significant benefits to the community and especially to the children.

This inspired Kusto Home to choose bridge building as the charitable goal of the event again this year, in the hope of bringing similar positive change to the residents of Tan Lap Hamlet in Dong Thap Province.

Kusto Home has recently become involved in various sports and charity activities. What does this mean for the direction the company is taking?

The value of sustainability is embedded in both Kusto Home’s project development philosophy and corporate culture.

When developing our projects, we always focus heavily on bringing nature and resort experiences into the living spaces.

This creates sustainability and health benefits and promotes a healthy and balanced lifestyle for residents.

These are also the messages and values that Dare To Run wants to convey.

In our company culture, Kusto Home always strives to create a work environment that encourages all employees to continuously develop and become the best version of themselves.

The sports activities combined with the charitable work offer all Kusto Home employees an excellent opportunity to improve their health and create concrete benefits.

Furthermore, in our goal to develop a better community, we are always conscious of the history of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

We want to expand our CSR activities beyond normal charity programs and build a network of like-minded individuals who share the same ambition to work together to develop programs that have long-term impact and strategic importance for the community.
