Western Air launches nonstop flights between the Bahamas and Florida – Aviacionline

Western Air lands in the United States at the beginning of the Nonstop flights between Freeport and Fort Lauderdale. This is the airline’s only international service and it also offers connections to other destinations in the Bahamas. In this segment, Western Air competes with Silver Airways and Bahamasair.

An Embraer ERJ-145 with the registration C6-MAM operated flight WU 110, which took off from Grand Bahama International Airport at 09:54 local time on August 22 and landed at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport at 10:23 a.m. after 29 minutes.

  • Flight WU106: Freeport (FPO) 09:30 – Fort Lauderdale (FLL) 10:00 daily flights.
  • Flight WU107: Fort Lauderdale (FLL) 11:00 – Freeport (FPO) 11:30 daily flights.

The route is served by Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft with a capacity of 50 seats.
