Scent of love in the air: spread romance in the house

Who said that the presence of love is only important in the bedroom? Absolutely not. It should be present everywhere. Yes, love. It should create and influence a calm and pleasant atmosphere among all family members. Children and parents alike. There is no need to say too much.

The impact of design on the members of the house is significant. The power of design elevates us, makes us happy, gives us peace, love and ensures a better, more romantic and pleasant coexistence between souls.

Roni Tadmor, Israel Market Manager at Ortel Fireplaces, says that the fireplace is a unifying, warming and romantic motif: “The role of the fireplace is to provide physical warmth, but not only that. It creates an atmosphere of intimate warmth that makes any room cozy and inviting.”

The design of the fireplace, whether classic, modern or rustic, is a visual element that conveys a sense of calm and romance. The soft and warm light emitted by the fireplace adds warmth to the room while emphasizing the design elements in its surroundings and drawing attention to personal connections and emotional contacts. “Focusing on the fireplace as the central element in the room provides an ideal environment for romantic meals and family dinners, heartfelt conversations and pleasant hours with our loved ones. The fireplace combines functionality with style and evokes positive and warming feelings.”

Keren Slinkov, Marketing Director of Light in Lighting: “The right lighting is one of the most important tools for creating a romantic atmosphere in any room of the house. Soft and subdued light softens the environment, gives the room warmth and intimacy and emphasizes the natural beauty.

Nowadays, there are many lighting fixtures with dimming function that can quickly transform any room into an intimate and welcoming place. While too strong light can create a cold atmosphere, well-designed lighting can stimulate emotions and strengthen the connection between partners. It helps to create a “private space” even in public places or family spaces, allowing couples to focus on each other and generally creating a more intimate and pleasant interaction between family members, for the benefit of conversation, reading a book, yoga, etc. “The power of light to influence our feelings and experiences. It is so important that it can change the way we perceive this or that space. A room with soft lighting creates intimacy, while the same room with strong lighting creates something more formal.”

Interior designer Karen Gans focuses on the design of seating areas in the public space of the house: “Sitting relaxed with a cup of coffee, reading a book, playing a board game or simply relaxing in front of the window: quiet, romantic, beautiful seating areas in the house have become a design trend. These corners are intimate and inviting. They are usually located next to a window and can also be integrated into small and compact apartments. The design concept includes a comfortable seating area with built-in benches and LOVESEAT armchairs, most of them near the window.”
