Oscar Piastri’s family goes viral without him for the right reasons

Oscar Piastri continues his incredible form after the summer break. The Australian qualified third for the 2024 Dutch GP and will be hoping for a better result in the upcoming race. However, while he is busy with his activities at the Zandvoort circuit, his family at home is also going viral for all the right reasons.

Since Piastri was introduced to Formula 1, his family has also gained popularity. His mother was the first to become a fan favorite with her witty tweets. He then spoke to Dax Shepard about his father, who is a multimillionaire and founder of HP Tuners. Now it’s Piastri’s sister Hattie’s turn and she’s announced herself in the funniest way possible.

Hattie got her parents involved in the currently viral TikTok trend of the Apple dance based on Charlie XCX’s latest song. The Piastris danced to Charli XCX’s favorite song wearing custom t-shirts.

In the perfectly executed choreography, they wore T-shirts with the English singer’s album “Brat” and the names of their favorite riders in front of them. The play on words made it hilarious, because the T-shirts read: “Yuki is a brat,” “Oscar is a brat,” “Alex is a brat.”

The Piastris followed the steps of the dance that Kelley Heyer first performed on their account and which sparked a wave of imitators, but they added their F1 variation to it and attracted sports fans to their version of the dance.

The McLaren man’s family dance has been well received in the F1 community, with fans expressing their excitement for it on X. Not only are they impressed by the family’s performance, but they’re also excited by the t-shirts they’re wearing.
