The Orange just picked up their second win of the season, 2-0 against the Siena Saints. Veteran goalie Blythe Braun made her first start for the Orange, making three crucial saves to help Syracuse to a shutout on Thursday night.
Juniors Ashley Rauch and Erin Flurey each scored after halftime for Syracuse to help the Orange to a 4-0 record against the Saints. The Orange are now off to their best start since 2017.
Now Syracuse hosts the 0-2 Lakers, who are hunting for their first win of the year. It will be the opening game between the two teams.
