Video “For Whom the Bell Tolls”:

Judge and Executioner clearly prove that Oomph! are back stronger than ever in a new line-up and are storming straight forward! The album opener “Wem die Stundeklopfen” makes an immediate statement, driven by a strong dose of industrial metal. The title track “Judge and Executioner” captivates the listener with a mix of catchy guitars and spoken word while criticizing ignorant social movements. New Wave influences are present in the hard and groovy anti-war anthem “Nur ein Mensch” – a future hit and a strong statement against warmongering and empty slogans that provoke hatred and war. On “Wut”, Oomph! is supported by none other than genre idol Joachim Witt.

Since their formation in 1989, Oomph! has developed into an influential band that has even inspired later Neue Deutsche Härte greats. With Richter und Henker, the Neue Deutsche Härte masters prove that they are still a driving force in the scene!
