Sebastian Lletget scored a goal and had two assists as FC Dallas recorded a 4-3 victory over 10-man DC United on Saturday.

Tsiki Ntsabeleng had a goal and an assist, and Nkosi Tafari and Paul Arriola also scored in FC Dallas’ first win in 13 road games this season (1-8-4). The Toros (9-11-6, 33 points) have a combined record of 3-0-1 in their last four regular-season games.

Christian Benteke, David Schnegg and Jared Stroud scored for DC United as the club matched its highest goal total of the season, but it was also the fifth time DC (6-12-8, 26 points) has allowed four or more goals in a game this year.

Six of the game’s seven goals came in the first half, starting with Benteke’s second-minute header. That dream start for DC was forgotten seven minutes later when Lletget’s corner found Tafari alone in the box, who finished.

Lletget put FC Dallas ahead with a header in the 21st minute, and the Toros’ offensive continued in the 40th minute when Arriola finished off a beautiful pass for his fourth goal of the season.

Schnegg’s first MLS goal in the 42nd minute reduced DC United’s deficit to 3-2, but Dallas was quick to respond again. Two minutes after Schnegg’s goal, Ntsabeleng put the finishing touches to another well-judged passing sequence to restore FC Dallas’ two-goal lead.

DC was forced to play with 10 men after Boris Enow received his second yellow card two minutes into first-half stoppage time. DC United received seven yellow cards on Saturday, while the Toros received three yellow cards.

Just when things seemed to be getting tough for DC United, the club got going again after the break. Stroud scored in the 48th minute to make it 1-0 again, but DC never managed to equalize.

Dallas’ top scorer Petar Musa was left out of the squad at short notice. Logan Farrington moved into the starting lineup and collected two assists.
