The Sons of Liberty hosted their 10th Annual Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Run at the Sheridan Veterans of Foreign Wars Club. The Sons would like to thank Ranee and Joe and all the staff at the VFW for all they did to prepare for the run and provide for everyone; all the riders who showed up and supported the run, the people and clubs who donated, Mayville Lawnmower Association, American Legion Post 62, Sons of American Legion 59, Moniuszko Club, Northern Chautauqua Conservation Club, Dom Polski Club, WWII Vets Club, First Ward Falcons Club and a special thanks to all the first responders, Chautauqua County Fire, East Town Fire, New York State Troopers, Chautauqua County Sheriff’s, Westfield Police Departments, Chief Dave Ortolano and the Dunkirk Police Department. Thanks to all of this support, the Sons of Liberty was able to raise $2,100. Remember: It is the soldier who gave you all the freedoms you have today, not the minister, the reporter, the press, the poet, the campus organizer, the lawyer, or the politician.
