Fair officials said it was a localized power outage that affected booths and buildings south of the grandstand, particularly along Judson Avenue and at the Dairy Goodness Bar in the Dairy Building.

On Thursday, 138,875 people came through the gates, setting a new opening record. The next day, the record from the first Friday was broken with 171,233 fair visitors.

The record holder for the highest number of visitors in one day was set on the first Friday of the fair in 2019. This year also attracted the most visitors of all time with a total of 2,126,551 visitors.

With almost three dozen new offers and six new providers, there is a lot for trade fair visitors to try. These are some of the WCCO team’s favorites.
