Nikola Jokic gave an insight on Saturday into what it would be like to be Luka Doncic’s teammate.
The MVP-worthy duo were on the same side at the “Night of the Dragon” exhibition match at the Stozice Arena in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The event was held to mark the official retirement of Slovenian legend Goran Dragic.
Doncic and Jokic sat next to each other on the bench. The Joker lived up to his name by repeatedly making fun of the Dallas Mavericks superstar whenever he had the chance. At one point, Jokic poured water on Doncic.

After his bottle was empty, Jokic resorted to simply hitting Luka on the back of the head.

The games continued on the pitch as the two repeatedly managed to pull off unusual moves.

Dragic’s farewell game was a high-profile affair. In addition to Doncic and Jokic, former NBA MVPs Steve Nash and Dirk Nowitzki were also in attendance at the event.
Other NBA players such as Nikola Vucevic, Boban Marjanovic, Robin Lopez and Bogdan Bogdanovic were also present at the competition.
Even Dragic’s former teammate Chris Bosh was in attendance. The Miami Heat legend was not originally scheduled to play, but eventually came into the game and scored two points.
Despite the star-studded team led by Doncic and Jokic, their team lost to Dragic’s team 106-86.
