VALLEJO, Calif. (KGO) — A chaotic night in North Bay ended with one person dead, another in the hospital and so many shootings that police couldn’t respond to them all.
Vallejo police said they were dealing with a shooting when they received a 911 call about a second into the middle of a sideshow.
A video shows people lighting a ring of fire in the middle of the intersection of BW Williams Drive and Lewis Brown Drive shortly after midnight while motorists did doughnuts.
When the call came in about the shooting, Vallejo police had to ask Solano County officials to respond.
According to police, a man was shot.
They believe the man was in a car, although it is not clear whether he was part of the sideshow or just driving by.
Police have not yet arrested anyone in connection with the shooting, but four people have been arrested in connection with the sideshow.
