Audiences turn a blind eye to “Blink Twice” and “The Crow” at the box office

Channing Tatum’s Flash twice and Bill Skarsgård’s The Crow are no match for Deadpool and Wolverine at the weekend box office.

After being pushed out of first place last week by Alien: Romulus, Deadline predicts that 20th Century Studios Deadpool and Wolverine will reclaim the top spot at the domestic box office with estimated $17.8 million in ticket sales from 3,840 North American theaters. If the estimate holds true, the superhero film will have grossed $576.6 million in the United States.

Another release from 20th Century Studios, Alien: Romulusis expected to gross $16 million from 3,915 theaters in its second weekend, securing second place and bringing its domestic total to $72.5 million, according to the trade publication.
