Starting times and pairings of the final round

The final round of the final major is upon us. Here are the tee times and pairings for the fourth round of the AIG Women’s Open on the Old Course.

To say that the first two days of play at the AIG Women’s Open were windy would be an understatement. Gusts of up to 40 miles per hour hit St. Andrews on the first day of the tournament, but that didn’t stop England’s Charley Hull from putting in an excellent performance on the links golf course.

The second day was a little quieter. Scotland’s Catriona Matthew played her final round of the Women’s Open but missed the cut, and the slightly calmer weather allowed world number one Nelly Korda to play a round of six under par to move to the top of the leaderboard before moving day – and what a moving day it was.

The weather improved and the wind gusts dropped by about 10 miles per hour, but under par was still a score to be proud of in the home of golf. South Korean Jiyai Shin played an exceptional round of 5 under par, moving her up the leaderboard and into contention, and despite starting with two consecutive bogeys to begin with, Nelly Korda continued her solid golf streak for the rest of the round.

Charley Hull dropped down the leaderboard after making a double bogey on the par-5 fifth hole, and Olympic silver medalist Esther Henseleit shot a 6-under-par round to move to 2 under par for the tournament.
