If you have a teammate who can trigger a Quick Assist after his Chain Attack, make sure to use his Chain Attack and Quick Assist last in Zhu Yuan to maximize buff availability.
Zhu Yuan can also cancel her Quick Assist attack by holding down the Basic Attack, allowing her to immediately begin firing her Enhanced Shotshells.
Zhu Yuan Mindscape Cinema
Zhu Yuan’s kit is fully functional at M0 and doesn’t require any additional Mindscapes to clear the current in-game content. For players looking to invest in her vertically, her M1 is a huge boost to her overall damage and comfort, and grants additional improved shotgun shells.
Since Zhu Yuan can use up her shotgun shells fairly quickly, it’s common for the enemy to be stunned and run out of shotgun shells to attack with. These extra shotgun shells increase her overall damage during this time and allow her to better utilize the stun’s damage multiplier buff.

Zhu Yuan Best Stats and Drive Discs
Both Chaotic Metal And Woodpecker Electric On Zhu Yuan the performance is similar, though Chaotic Metal is favored due to the second Drive Disc set it is paired with, Swing Jazz.
Chaotic Metal’s increased CRIT damage pairs well with the large CRIT rate buff Zhu Yuan gets from her additional ability, and Woodpecker Electro’s in-combat ATK buff is a strong option in general.
If players get it by farming fire characters, Buffer Electro can be used in boss scenarios as it provides the 15% Battle ATK buff. However, Zhu Yuan may waste enhanced shotgun shells at the start of her cast time with her ultimate if her shotgun gauge is already full. If this is the case, spending these shotgun shells will reduce the cast time of other buffs while she waits to use her ultimate. Therefore, this Drive Disc set is generally not recommended, but can be used if it is present.
