Two midfield options that Real Madrid coach can rely on after Bellingham’s injury

With Jude Bellingham out for a month due to a recent injury, Carlo Ancelotti now faces the difficult challenge of finding a suitable replacement for the midfielder who was crucial to Real Madrid’s success last season.

What decisions does Ancelotti make?

At the moment, the logical choice for Ancelotti would be to sign Luka Modric or Arda Güler to replace the injured Bellingham.

Modrić could fit seamlessly into the team without the need to change the lineup thanks to his vast experience and technical skills.

It is worth noting that Ancelotti has opted for a 4-3-3 formation in the last two games, with Bellingham positioned in a deeper midfield role to direct play, a role that Modric, for his part, could easily fill.

On the other hand, the young Güler brings a different dynamic with his energy and creativity and could thus provide fresh momentum in the midfield.

In order to include the young Turk in the starting line-up, a tactical change to a 4-2-3-1 formation might be necessary, which would allow him to play centrally.

Or if Ancelotti wants to stick to his usual approach, Federico Valverde could move to the left, allowing Güler to occupy the right side of midfield.
