It will be quite a while before every household device has a USB-C port, and that doesn’t fix all the old devices that have previous generation ports, meaning we’ll be stuck with different cables, each designed for different devices.

What if you could get rid of all those cables and have a single cable whose connectors you can swap out for different generations? Magnetic cables are the answer, but don’t seem to have caught on as much as you’d expect for such a practical idea. Nevertheless, I managed to get my hands on one and have been using it for a week. I can say that it is really convenient, but at a cost.
