Ayesha’s “Instagram page is unavailable”
After posting a glimpse of her ethnic blue and gold sari look on August 19, some social media users said that Ayesha was almost unrecognisable after her ‘plastic surgery’. Amid all the talk about her ‘new look’, the actress’ Instagram account has now been deactivated.
Here is what it says:
Ayesha has not made any statement yet, except in February this year when she took a dig at people obsessed with her looks and hinted that she was looking to make a comeback in the film industry.
Ayesha is married to Farhan Azmi, a restaurant owner. He is also the son of politician Abu Azmi. Ayesha and Farhan have a son, Mikail.
Ayesha Takia on how she was trolled for her looks
In February 2024, she shared on Instagram, “Have to say this, rushed to Goa two days ago… Had a medical emergency in my family… My sister was literally in the hospital. In the midst of all this, I remember being stopped by paparazzi and basically just posing for them for a few seconds before flying off. Turns out there are no other important issues in this country except dissecting my looks.”
Clarifying that she has “zero interest in films or making a comeback”, she added, “I have been bombarded with ridiculous opinions that have gone viral about how people think I should have looked and I don’t. Get over me buddy, I have no interest at all in doing films or making a comeback as people say. I live my life happily, never want to be in the limelight, am not interested in fame, don’t want to act in any film… So keep calm… Please don’t bother with me.”
“To expect a girl you saw mostly as a teenager to look the same 15 years later… How unrealistic and ridiculous are these people… Lol please find better things to spend your time doing than tearing apart good looking women. I am blessed with a fabulous life and don’t need your opinion, save it for those who are interested. I send all your shitty energy back to you. Do better guys, find a hobby, eat something nice, talk to your friends, smile, whatever it takes to not be so unhappy that you have to tell a beautiful, happy woman that she doesn’t look the way you wanted her to,” she had added.
