Google Keep launches AI-powered “Help me make a list” feature on Android: How to use it

Google has announced the launch of a new AI-powered feature for his note app, Google NotesTo Android Devices. The function called “Help me create a list“” is designed to help users create comprehensive and ordered lists based on their input.
With this new feature, users can simply type a prompt or phrase into Google Keep and the AI ​​will suggest relevant list items and categories, and even make suggestions for additional details to include. For example, if a user types “grocery shopping list,” the AI ​​might suggest items like “fruits,” “vegetables,” “dairy,” and “pantry staples.”
“We’re excited to introduce this innovative feature in Google Keep,” said a Google spokesperson. “By leveraging the power of AI, we’re making it easier than ever for users to create well-structured and informative lists.”
The Help Me Make a List feature is currently rolling out to Android users. Google has not yet confirmed when it will be available on other platforms like iOS and the web.
How to use the Help me make a list feature
1. Open Google Keep: Launch the Google Keep app on your Android device.
2. Create a new list: Tap the plus button (+) to start a new list.
3. Start typing: Start typing a prompt or phrase that relates to the list you want to create. For example, you can type “grocery shopping,” “travel luggage,” or “weekend plans.”
4. Show AI suggestions: As you type, Google Keep’s AI suggests relevant list items, categories, and additional details.
5. Add or modify suggestions: Tap the suggested items to add them to your list. You can also modify or delete suggestions if necessary.
6. Customize your list: After you’ve added the basic items, you can further customize your list by adding more details, changing the order of items, or adding colors or labels.
7. Save your list: When you are happy with your list, tap the Save button to save your work.
