2. AAA: Gas prices 53 cents lower than in the same period last year, could fall further

In Florida, gasoline prices rose seven cents last week, but by the weekend all of the increases were wiped out, and the average price of regular gasoline in the state on Sunday was $3.31 per gallon.

According to AAA-Auto Club Group’s weekly gas price chart, the average price is two cents lower than last week, 12 cents lower than the week before and 53 cents lower than the same period last year. The state average is also 33 cents lower than this year’s high of $3.64 per gallon.

“Over the weekend, gasoline prices in Florida hit their lowest average price in two months,” said Mark Jenkins, spokesman for the group. “The price of crude oil continues to influence prices at the pump.”

He added: “Oil prices rose early last week on renewed optimism about the US economy after the July domestic consumer spending report came in better than analysts expected. However, weak economic data from China caused oil prices to decline towards the end of the week.” – Arianna Otero/USA TODAY Network-Florida

How much are gas prices in Florida?

  • Most expensive metro markets – West Palm Beach-Boca Raton ($3.49), Gainesville ($3.39), Naples ($3.38).

Even though the leaves don’t change as quickly in Florida, we can count on pumpkin spice to usher in the fall feels. And they may be coming sooner than you think.

According to insiders, Starbucks will be releasing its fall menu very soon. Experts believe there will be two dates on which the menu could be changed.

Although Starbucks has not yet confirmed the launch, investigators have found that the new menu release could occur any day.

Coffee chain Dunkin’ Donuts is expected to follow suit. Influencer Markie Devo posted Dunkin’s possible fall menu on Instagram.
