Teen Mom’s Jade Cline’s tweets are getting political

Fans of “Teen Mom” criticized Jade for her tweets about Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

In August 2024, posts appeared that Teenage mother Star Jade Cline shared them on Twitter by retweeting them. After Jade received criticism for these tweets, she removed them from her profile, but fans who took screenshots shared them on social media and now on other Teenage mother Fans want to know what Jade tweeted and how bad the content actually was.

It all boils down to politics and Jade’s obvious thoughts and opinions on the 2024 presidential election. The tweets she shared were in support of former President Donald Trump and against Vice President Kamala Harris. But what they said and suggested are, according to some fans, the reason why Jade should be removed from the MTV show.

What did Jade Cline say in her tweets?

The Teenage mother Instagram gossip account TeenMomFanz shared screenshots of the tweets that Jade reposted and then deleted. According to the account, one of the tweets was about Trump forgiving student loan debt, but included a note that this information was not reported by the “fake news.” Another tweet from a user named Insurrection Barbie said, “Kamala is fake. Stop telling us what you’re doing. You’re in office. Why didn’t you do it?”

One of the other tweets Jade allegedly retweeted was a video of a woman calling Harris’ campaign promises “insincere” and asking how people “fall for it.” Although Jade did not say those words in her own original tweets, the now-deleted retweets were reportedly once on her account.

Jade also reportedly shared a tweet with a video of black women talking about the bad economy. And the former Teenage mother The star’s sister Ashley Jones commented on Instagram, “I mean I don’t know why she used (black people) to support her point. That was honestly weird.” Jade, however, has not commented on the tweets. And they are not currently on her Twitter, although screenshots of them are on social media.

What did MTV say about Jade’s tweets?

The same Teenage mother The Gossip Instagram account shared on August 18, 2024, that a purported source close to production asked if Jade would be allowed to remain on the show in light of tweets that some found problematic. According to the account, the source said, “After careful consideration, it appears that Jade will remain on the cast. Her comments were ultimately deemed free speech. But higher-ups will be monitoring her social media going forward.”

However, this source has not been confirmed by MTV. But Jade is still part of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter and as long as she doesn’t say anything about the tweets or her political views, those tweets will remain a thing of the past.
