A$AP Rocky doesn’t know if there is “a more perfect person” than Rihanna.

In a Billboard In his cover story published on Thursday, August 22, the 35-year-old rapper (born Rakim Mayers) spoke about his “great” relationship with the 36-year-old Fenty founder, with whom he has sons RZA, 2, and Riot, 1.

After praising Rihanna’s mothering skills, Rocky talked about how they balance their work schedules with their free time together.

“It’s crazy how we find balance despite our chaotic schedules,” he told the outlet.

He added of Rihanna: “I don’t think there is a more perfect person because when the schedule is hectic, she is very understanding.”

Rocky noted that they spend “the most time together” when they have “freer schedules.”

“It’s all about understanding and compatibility,” he said.

Earlier this month, the couple was spotted on the beach in Barbados, Rihanna’s home country.

The couple also seemed to enjoy the beautiful trip on the sea, as can be seen in photos of Rocky and Rihanna fooling around in their life jackets on an orange inflatable sofa.

Just one day before her foray into the water, the “Diamonds” artist celebrated her grand return to the annual Crop Over Festival in Barbados.

Rihanna paraded through the streets at the St. Michael’s event – also known as the Grand Kadooment Parade – wearing a custom-made carnival costume with wings. The feathered outfit included gold and bronze jewels and a matching headpiece.

Rocky and the nine-time Grammy winner also visited Barbados around the same time last year, where they were spotted with their son RZA enjoying some quality family time together shortly before the birth of their second child, Riot.

Before confirming their relationship to PEOPLE in November 2020, Rihanna and Rocky were close friends for nearly a decade. After making their romance public, they were frequently spotted together on dates and on vacation.

In May 2022, PEOPLE confirmed that the couple had welcomed their first child, RZA.

In February 2023, the “Work” artist revealed her second pregnancy and showcased her baby bump at the Super Bowl halftime show. Sources confirmed to PEOPLE in August that she and A$AP Rocky had welcomed their second child, Riot.
