The streaming giant now has a solution – an AI chatbot — TradingView News

Alphabet Inc. GOOG GOOGLE Google-in possession YouTube has launched a new AI assistant to help users recover hacked accounts.

What happened: The AI ​​chatbot, described as a “troubleshooting tool,” is accessible through the YouTube Help Center and guides hacked creators by asking a series of questions to secure their Google logins and undo any unauthorized changes to their channels.

Currently, Support Assistant is only available in English and limited to a select group of creators, but Google plans to eventually expand access to all creators.

The chatbot appears to be a standard support tool without any generative AI features. However, it does not address the developers’ main complaint that it is difficult to contact YouTube directly when issues arise.
