They succeeded in doing so, because they delivered a record that paints a cynical view of a dystopian future. This mood is already conveyed by song titles such as “End of the world” And “Into the darkness” The world is changing at a rate that is impossible to keep up with. Oppression and tyranny are becoming more relevant every day and are manifesting in different forms. And there are forces waiting to capitalize on and exploit the chaos. CANTERVICE sees it as a kind of necessity to raise their voice and use their platform to express their concerns. The hard sound fits perfectly with the hard narrative, both fueling each other.
The title Zero hour is something of a call to action. We are at a new beginning, so to speak. The cards may be on the table, but nothing is decided, settled, or set in stone.
