Writer’s block can be a real problem and it can be very annoying when you need to write a work-related email but are unable to compose a neat email. Many people might have been in such a situation where they had some pointers in their mind on the basis of which the email should be structured but they were unable to put everything together in a clear and concise manner. Google has released a new feature to help us in this situation. Composing emails in Gmail has become pretty easy with the integration of Gemini.
With Gemini’s new Help Me Write and Polish features, you can now not only write emails, but also edit them and change the tone with just one click. This Gemini-powered Gmail can now polish, formalize, elaborate or shorten a draft, or create a completely new draft. The only thing is, it’s reserved for paying customers only.

Availability and details of Google’s new Polish and Help Me Write features
These features are currently rolling out to Google Workspace customers with the Gemini Business and Enterprise add-on, the Gemini Education and Education Premium add-on, or the Google One AI Premium subscription.
To use the Polish feature in Gmail, a user needs to type at least 12 words of content in the Gmail draft window on smartphones, while the Help me write shortcut is visible in the email compose window for eligible users. The Polish feature turns your rough notes into a proper email. Gemini’s new editing options can be accessed by swiping right. This feature is available on web, Android, and iOS devices.
In June 2024, Google introduced the ability to aggregate emails in Gmail with Gemini as part of the Google Workspace Labs feature. Again, this feature is only available to enterprise customers and users with a Google One AI Premium subscription.
